Housing Information 
The military provides two options for the use of your Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH). 
The first option is living on post. Your second option is using your BAH to rent of buy a home. We provide you with military friendly information to help you maximize your BAH.

• The Housing Management Office (662) 434-3446/3474 can answer all of your on- and off-base housing questions. Contact the HMO Office as soon as you know you are moving. You will be provided with the latest information on local housing as well as referral services and relocation assistance. The HMO offers counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement, as well as resolving tenant-landlord disputes. 

Columbus AFB On Base Housing

• The Unaccompanied Housing Office (662) 434-7278 is reserved for airmen in the ranks of E1-E3 and E4 with less than 3 years of service. You are provided with private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens and supplies required for comfortable living.

• Columbus AFB on-base housing is privatized and operated by Hunt Military Communities - Columbus (888) 318-5771, which offers 3 neighborhoods of 2-6 bedroom duplexes and single family homes. Amenities can include: washer/dryer hookups, landscaping, pool and fitness center. Pets are welcome.
